CAREER HISTORY
Mc Donalds , Rooley Lane
I currently work at McDonald’s and have learnt many skills, such as the importance of understanding health and safety regulations especially in a busy environment. I am required to maintain food safety, work with grill and other hot surfaces and ensure walkways and fire exits are kept clear. I am required to work at speed to keep supply up with demand, this requires me to work effectively but also be conscious of potential hazards . I have developed social skills, as I have to work and aid my coworkers if something goes wrong or if the supply cant keep up with demand, this requires dedicated team work and effective communication.
Volunteer At The Handmade Studio 2019 – Present
I have previously volunteer for a small Business. This involves loading stock, setting up displays on event days, talking to customers, keeping an inventory of items sold, adding up sales orders, taking money and giving change.
This role has helped me gain confidence in serving and talking to customers. I have had to build my knowledge about the different gift products on sale, so that I can explain how they work or answer any questions they may have. I am professional but friendly, so the customers feel able to approach and speak to me.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
In my spare time I like to play video games which has helped develop skills like hand eye coordination, teamwork and meeting deadline. i also enjoy chatting with my friends and spend time with my family. I also like going on walks with my dog.
