We will then evaluate and reflect on this, applying what we have learned to future projects.<\/p>\n<p>The aspects of theory that we covered were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Modulation &#8211; key change<\/li>\n<li>The circle of fifths<\/li>\n<li>Extended chords<\/li>\n<li>Skank chords &#8211; syncopation (off beat rhythm)<\/li>\n<li>Major and minor scales<\/li>\n<li>Simple and compound time signatures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The setlist that we will be performing to apply this theory to is:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Hungry Heart &#8211; Bruce Springsteen<\/li>\n<li>Human &#8211; Rag &#8216;n&#8217; Bone Man<\/li>\n<li>Marry You &#8211; Bruno Mars<\/li>\n<li>Feeling Good &#8211; Muse<\/li>\n<li>Chocolate &#8211; The 1975<\/li>\n<li>Love is a Losing Game &#8211; Amy Winehouse<\/li>\n<li>Sunday Morning &#8211; Maroon 5<\/li>\n<li>No Woman No Cry &#8211; Bob Marley<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this project we will be learning music theory and applying it to songs, which we will perform at a lunchtime gig.
