Strengths:<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

I think that one of my greatest strengths is music theory. I think that this is a strength because I have been learning music theory for quite a few years at school and have now furthered my knowledge here at college.<\/p>\n

I also think that I am strong at playing piano because I only properly started to learn it this year and I am now doing quite well at it. However, I have been learning it at a basic level and practicing a lot for a few years.<\/p>\n

As well as this, I am very good at being professional. I do this by being punctual and on time to all rehearsals and lessons as well as having the ability to learn songs fairly quickly through practice.<\/p>\n

Weaknesses:<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

I think that I need to improve on my volume when singing as I am often overpowered by the band or other vocalists. In order to do this I could research projection techniques and practice.<\/p>\n

Linking to that, I also need to work on harmonising with other vocalists. In school, I was quite good at this because I practiced with the same person every week but I find it difficult to do it with other vocalists especially with little practice.<\/p>\n

I also need to work on being better at sight reading. I am improving on reading sheet music but it takes me a long time and therefore I am not up to a good standard of sight reading yet. I will improve on this by trying to learn a piece of music in small chunks. Especially on the bass clef because I struggle with that the most.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
