{"id":737,"date":"2020-03-03T14:41:42","date_gmt":"2020-03-03T14:41:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/10608053\/?page_id=737"},"modified":"2020-03-26T13:50:05","modified_gmt":"2020-03-26T13:50:05","slug":"our-workshop-structure","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/10608053\/our-workshop-structure\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop Structure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the structure, I chose to use the same method that I researched using the 5 aspects of workshop planning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis:&nbsp;<em>W<\/em><\/strong><em>hat do we want to achieve? <\/em>We would like to gain experience and present our knowledge to someone.&nbsp;<em>What is the ideal outcome?&nbsp;<\/em>A smooth running project, which educates people on how to write a song.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Planning:&nbsp;<\/strong>Introduction &#8211; Ice breakers &#8211; 10 minutes<\/p>\n<p>Theory &#8211; Circle of 5ths, song structure, time signatures &#8211; 30 minutes<\/p>\n<p>Harmony &#8211; Build on theory, pick a key and build chord sequences &#8211; 15 minutes<\/p>\n<p>Rhythm &#8211; Games and basic rhythms &#8211; 15 minutes<\/p>\n<p>Melody and lyrics &#8211; Talk through various methods (1 or 2?) &#8211; 15 minutes<\/p>\n<p>End &#8211; Survey and blockbusters to show progress and assessment &#8211; 10 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Development:&nbsp;<\/strong><em>Why?<\/em> To teach songwriting.<\/p>\n<p><em>How?&nbsp;<\/em>Three 1 hour sessions of practical work, using PowerPoints and other programs to aid the lesson.<\/p>\n<p><em>What?&nbsp;<\/em>Performing to the clients as well as taking a step by step approach to the lesson.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rehearsals:&nbsp;<\/strong>Stick to a script and carry out the tester workshop to help us improve.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Evaluation:&nbsp;<\/strong>Videos, surveys, blockbusters, audio recordings and written evaluations of these.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the structure, I chose to use the same method that I researched using the 5 aspects of workshop planning.
