Analysis: W<\/em><\/strong>hat do we want to achieve? <\/em>We would like to gain experience and present our knowledge to someone. What is the ideal outcome? <\/em>A smooth running project, which educates people on how to write a song.<\/p>\n Planning: <\/strong>Introduction – Ice breakers – 10 minutes<\/p>\n Theory – Circle of 5ths, song structure, time signatures – 30 minutes<\/p>\n Harmony – Build on theory, pick a key and build chord sequences – 15 minutes<\/p>\n Rhythm – Games and basic rhythms – 15 minutes<\/p>\n Melody and lyrics – Talk through various methods (1 or 2?) – 15 minutes<\/p>\n End – Survey and blockbusters to show progress and assessment – 10 minutes<\/p>\n Development: <\/strong>Why?<\/em> To teach songwriting.<\/p>\n How? <\/em>Three 1 hour sessions of practical work, using PowerPoints and other programs to aid the lesson.<\/p>\n What? <\/em>Performing to the clients as well as taking a step by step approach to the lesson.<\/p>\n Rehearsals: <\/strong>Stick to a script and carry out the tester workshop to help us improve.<\/p>\n Evaluation: <\/strong>Videos, surveys, blockbusters, audio recordings and written evaluations of these.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" For the structure, I chose to use the same method that I researched using the 5 aspects of workshop planning.
