It often drives the song and keeps the time so I felt this was an important thing to look into. I already knew how to build a drum rack and download sample packs to have a more authentic-sounding kit but as I am not a drummer, I did not know what the best drum beats to use were or what was most effective. I found this Youtube tutorial on the most useful patterns to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"10 Popular Drum Patterns Every Producer Should Know\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/c7ffMObdxro?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>(LANDR, 2020)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I did not understand how to export my files. I continuously exported a solo section of mong and it was confusing. I read an article on MusicRadar that explained how to master the track and export it. With extra time, I may have used this to master my track. However, with the limited time frame I had, I could not do this additional step. (Music, Music and Music, 2022)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The book; 10 Ableton Live Newbie Mistakes to Avoid (Music Habits Book 7)(Timothy, 2013), allowed me to find an entire list of guides to all things Ableton (Ableton Live Videos &amp; Music Software Training, 2022). Even though I couldn&#8217;t implement the vocal mixing techniques due to my lost voice and covid, I wanted to learn about this in case I could have recorded the vocals as I had first intended. One thing I find to be really nice on vocals is reverb.
