Marketing Schedule

First Draft:

15th April – Get back in touch with Ruth Peterson in College Marketing
3rd May – Officially announce the date of the showcase (Calendar post and digital poster) – Eventbrite for premiere released here?
No later than 7th May – Put up posters and encourage students to boost posts by sharing and posting about it on their own social media accounts.
Week commencing 26th April – Visit other departments to spread the word about our showcase, share out to friends and family and applicants for September 2021.
Week commencing 17th May – Acoustic performances and flying in open public college areas (outside, cafe, reception DHB, art gallery) and busking? BCB interviews with me and a select few other students. Acoustic performances on there.

This draft is already much more detailed than my first management schedule, which shows that I have learned that if I add more detail the schedule is easier to follow. The things that need to be improved here are the ideas that should be finalized, for example, the questions about busking and tickets for the premiere release date.

28th May – Final BCB interview with me to air at 6:30 pm ready for the showcase at 7 pm. Take images of the premiere.

* BTS means Behind The Scenes and these images will be used to promote the showcase.

Eventbrite is no longer an option because due to the Covid lockdown restrictions, we are unable to hold public gatherings. So, we will not be needing to ticket the event. In addition to this, I will not be taking photos during audio recording sessions because the sound of the camera may be caught on the recording or it could be distracting to the musicians. It also may be too difficult to visit classrooms due to social distancing and so I plan to print more posters and leaflets to spread around the college to spread the word in a safer way. Similarly, I plan to keep busking out of college hours and leave that to the students for their own accord.
