This video is very interesting because although it is aimed at drummers, a lot of the information can be applied to other instruments. One tip I learned from this is to practice listening to music and picking out a different style of mannerisms in other instruments as well as your own so that you are able to blend your playing in a better-suited way to the genre. This, of course, is important mostly for if you are planning to solo.
