Self Assessment:
Context – I think that I have achieved this to a good standard as I understood the context clearly, which aided me to make educated decisions and express them clearly.
Research – I have completed this to a satisfactory standard as a lot of my work is lacking in research in terms of practical work. However when creating the radio show I made an effort to research all about the various non-profit organisations and artists involved with women and music.
Problem Solving – I have completed this to a good standard because throughout the entire project I managed to rectify issues with the show. For example when we did not have enough information to fill the time, I took it upon myself to find out more and record extra parts.
Planning and Production – I would say my planning was of a high standard. This is because I constantly wrote down structures plans for various sections of the radio show. I am also proud of what we had produced at the end of the project.
Practical Skills – My practical skills are of a high standard. I believe this is the case because I consistently applied myself to create a successful show.
Evaluation and Reflection – These skills were carried out to a very high standard. I constantly reflected back on work by asking for peer and tutor feedback. I also received feedback from David every week. This helped me to improve constantly throughout the project.
Presentation – My presentation is organised across the board. This means it is good because it has continuity and is easy to read as well as clear and concise.
