For my final project I had a few ideas. In the video above I talked about the one I have the most confidence in, which is a song writing workshop in a school. I decided I wanted to do this because I think that composition is a skill I could improve on and it would help me to incorporate my strengths as a performer as well as get me started in the world of teaching, as that is what I would like to do in the future.
Other ideas I had were a vocal workshop for younger children, which would again further my performance and teaching skills; releasing an EP to improve on my song writing and to get my music out there or a live performance of covers. The reason I did not feel as confident about these ideas is that the vocal workshop is something fairly simple that does not require much effort, the EP is something that I might find difficult as a lot of other students are already doing this and so studio time will be limited and I am not overly confident in my song writing and I would not like to do . I also did not enjoy the recording project as much as the other ones.
