Trip hazards:
Tidy up the cables, Make sure mic stands are out of the wat if theyre not being used.
Noise/Hearing damage:
Use earplugs/ Use legal level of noise 85db
Electrocution:
Make sure that there are no naked wires and no drinks near electrical equipment.
Fire hazards:
Make sure everyone knows about the fire exists, No lighters or matchsticks should be allowed in the venue or anything that can cause a fire, stage fires should be inspected very carefully before using them on stage
Crushing:
Only a specific amount of individuals should be allowed in the venue according to how many the venue can hold.
RSI:
If starting to feel a strain while singing or throat starts to hurt the individual should stop straight away as it could lead to RSI (damaging vocal chords)
Heavy lifting:
The individual should not lift something they cant or is to heavy for them as it could lead to fatal injuries.
The individual should use the right technique while lifting heavy equipment.
Applying to band rehearsals:
- Make sure that there are no wires or mic stands sticking out which could cause us to trip over.
- Make sure there are no drinks around sound equipment.
- Make sure that everyones aware of fire exits.
