What is Event Management?
The name says quite a lot about the role itself. It’s basically organizing an event which is not an easy task. It involves so many other different roles for example arranging facilities, tickets, promotions, security etc. An Event mangers job is to keep everything in check and make sure everything’s running smoothly by communicating with all the different role leaders.
The Different Roles:
Event management consists of so many different roles that put together a well organized event. In my opinion Event Manager is the most challenging role of all because it requires the individual to constantly interact with all the other roles and keep everyone in check and make sure everyone is getting along with their work.
My Event Management Role:
My role for the live event was Logs/Facilities/Security (Front of house) but because of the new covid-19 restriction we had no choice but to do a live stream so my roles weren’t required so I decided top assist Tom, Carys and Alfie and James with their work since they have quite a lot. I go around and ask everyone if they need help.
