For this final project of the course I am going to be producing an EP. We have until the first week of June to complete this task and so in and throughout the process I will be documenting the events that take place.<\/p>\n
The EP will consist of one original track and one cover. we’re hoping to have everything recorded and ready within 8 weeks.<\/p>\n
we decided to do an EP \u00a0because individually that is what each of us wanted to do and so we came to the decision that if we have to work as a group then at least we can make something we all wanted to do anyways.<\/p>\n
I originally wanted to make a mixtape of beats and have rappers\/RnB singers perform vocals on them. Veronica (vocalist)\u00a0wanted to do a performance but was totally up for making an EP. Bart (guitarist) originally wanted to make an indie rock EP. Because we were grouped together we had to compromise on the genre of music we were going to make, so this is why we decided to go for a HipHop\/RnB sound but with guitar driven melodies. This way me and Veronica could do the styles we like and Bart could still play guitar.<\/p>\n
