I think our presentation went fairly smoothly. There was a moment in the early stages of the presentation where I said how many tracks we would be putting on our EP and Veronica tried to correct me; I reacted wrongly by challenging what she said. This was due to a lack of understandable communication, which in conclusion was a negative start to the presentation. I felt very confident and forward when speaking but after watching the video back I noticed I didn’t sound as confident as I felt. I feel like I did the most talking out of the group mainly because I was the most confident out of the three of us.
- Darren gave us advice on how to promote it e.g. not setting a specific age on our target audience.
- Nick reminded us that we need individual practice and individual portfolio’s so to keep it in mind I am going to give myself a lot of time to practice individually.
- Nick also suggested we have regular meetings and rehearsals.
Nick suggested individual practice time – I am going to take this into account and spend a couple hours of week practicing the piano and learning new and helpful recording techniques to implement them into my recording sessions.
After Darren told us not to specify the age our target audience is it made me realise instead of saying an age to aim our product at we will aim it at the age first said, only we will also promote it in the direction of any age upwards.
