Final Performance

For our final performance i feel like we played quite well. The band managed to play the cover quite well considering two of the members only had two days notice. They made it sound better than it would have sounded if it was just me, Bart and Veronica. We managed to play through both songs without messing any parts up. It was however a very short set for us a group so we didn’t really get to showcase our full capabilities and talents.

whilst performing revenge the crowd didn’t really seem too interested which looking back at it is quite disappointing. However when we got onto the second track the crowd seemed more engaged in our music and what we were doing. Our vocalist even had the crowd clapping in time with the snare which was good to see. Besides that however, I didn’t feel as though the crowd really felt the vibe we were trying to create; nor the music in general.

We didn’t really prepare for our final performance as well as we should have. We only started rehearsing for the gig three days before we were due to play, this was due to a lack of communication and a lack of effort from specific individuals.

After listening back to my final performance I could tell my bass guitar was not loud enough. Through my monitor it sounded fine but through the front of house speakers it was not loud enough. The acoustic guitar was also very quiet but didn’t really make much difference anyways, our electric guitarist played perfectly fine without the sound of an acoustic.
