Orange terror bass head. This was the bass head that we used to record the EP. It is often regarded as the\u00a0quintessential\u00a0stoner\/doom bass head, this is exactly the style that our bassist goes for so it is the perfect amp for us to play through. This is his own amp which is all the more reason to use it as he is familiar with it and knows how to get a good tone out of it. This saved us a lot of time dialling in a tone as he pretty much plugged it in and started playing.![\"\"](\"https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/10587464\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/70\/2019\/04\/IMG_20190417_180438.jpg\")

Oktava MK 012-01. We decided to use this mic as it is a condenser and will be better at picking up the wide stereo image of the fuzzy bass tone. As you can also see, we have placed the mic a couple of inches away from the grill cloth. This was so it was able to pick up more of the bass frequencies and give it a more balanced sound.<\/p>\n
