After careful consideration, I have decided that I am going to continue my education at a university. I have picked this over going into full-time work because I fell as though it will give me the best opportunity to pursue music as a career. By going into higher education, I will be able to further develop my skills and also potentially gain some connections in the music industry through the partners that universities have. Below are the universities that I have applied to:
My top choice at the moment is Leeds Arts university. This is because it is the university that I thought the best suited me, the facilities were state of the art, the staff and students were very friendly and inviting, and Leeds is a nice city with a decent music scene. I have applied to the popular music performance course.
I have also applied to the royal northern college of music to the popular music course but I was unsuccessful in my application.
