The aim of this project is to coordinate a concert. This will include performing, video production, and managing the event.
For the performance aspect, I will be playing in our already established college funk band ‘The Funky Ones’. This will save us some time and effort as we already have a small setlist ready and are comfortable playing with each other. We have a 15 minute set for the gig which will allow us to perform 4 songs.
For video production, we will have to record, edit, and produce a video that will aid in promoting the event. We will be doing this for our own individual bands to promote our performance at the gig.
I was given the role of digital promotion for my event management part of this project. This means that any form of promotion that will happen on the internet will be done by me and my partner, Ant Henderson.
