Before beginning this project, I already had a relatively firm idea of how I wanted to design this EP. I wanted to use a small variety of genres, not too dissimilar from each other. The overall genre is UK Bass\/UK Dance, however, there are Bassline, Bass House, Jump Up and Drum & Bass songs to be released in this EP. The EP name will be the same as one of the songs that will be released within it, ideally a song that hasn’t already been released yet, but has been more heavily promoted than the rest of the tracks, this will also mean that it will be named after the track that I believe will carry the most success. Before naming the EP, however, I want to finish producing all the tracks and name them all. The tracks I have so far are;<\/p>\n
When naming these songs, I found emphasised words from the lyrics of the acapellas I used. Whilst ‘Origins’ has no acapella, so I took the context of my project to name the track, and because I want this project to be the beginning of my music career, I gave it its name because, hopefully, its going to be the origin of my career.<\/p>\n
When it comes to the type of feeling and mood I want to express with this EP, and any of the things that I create\/do as an artist, I want to try and create a dirty, gritty and aggressive style and mood to all the graphics and audio that I use when producing, promoting, or releasing.<\/p>\n
I wanted use the EP to showcase how I’ve grown and developed as a producer over the last year, including songs I made from a year ago, all the way up until now. For this reason im going to call the EP Movement, as in how my style and skill has ‘moved’ over the last year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
