I then continued to play alongside the actual song, part by part until I was confident I could play from beginning to end, where I began to play it from start to finish to practise it. I did a similar thing to this with the other two songs, except I used tabs to learn them.<\/p>\n<p>For Pay My Rent, I played the bass part that was already in the song, I didn&#8217;t have to write a new part like I did with In My Blood. I played alongside the actual song with the tab to learn the song part by part, and then followed the same process I used for Youth until I could continue to play the song start to finish alongside the song to practise.<\/p>\n<p>For In My Blood, I had to use the chord structure to write a new bass part that worked alongside Lea&#8217;s guitar part. I essentially just used the route notes and added a rhythm that worked. I then used the same process, but instead of playing alongside the song, I began practising right alongside Lea playing the chords.<\/p>\n<p>After being confident that I knew each song from start to finish, I began to practise with Lea, working on the dynamics and timing of each song until we were happy with how each song sounded in our acoustic set.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ultimate Guitar Tabs &#8211; Bass Guitar for Pay My Rent by DNCE Ultimate Guitar Tabs &#8211; Chords for In My Blood by Shawn Mendes I used the websites and videos linked above to find out what I had to play.
