Hi, welcome to my final project for the first year of the UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music Performance and Production.<\/p>\n
For my final project I wanted to do something performance based. As my main instrument is piano and I have become very interested in Jazz over the past year, I decided to develop a repertoire of Jazz standards and play them at an external venue.<\/p>\n
The following headings feature an in-depth look into my journey over the course of this nine week project. I really enjoyed researching different areas during this project, including the history behind jazz, the psychology behind performance nerves, as well as lots of other musical information.<\/p>\n
I am very proud of how far I came in just over two months and how I performed in my final showcase.<\/p>\n
