On Wednesday 9th May I had the amazing opportunity of attending a photo shoot designated for taking artist photos in order to use for promotion in the future. I intended to use these photographs for a website which would help me to promote my final performance and future performances and my availability as a performing musician. However unfortunately I didn’t have the time to create a website therefore I didn’t end up using them. After I finish this project, I am hoping to finish this idea and hopefully these photographs will help create a personalized website that will appeal to most people.
Below is a link to a Pinterest page of the photographs taken as unfortunately some exceeded the download limit on this website.

I found the whole experience very exciting and it gave me a great insight to how professional profiling and photography are done in the music industry. There are some incredible photographs in there that I will definitely look to use in the future.
For my flyer, I asked a friend of mine who is studying photography at college to take them. I will link another Pinterest board with these on below.

Both sets of pictures are of incredible quality and I was incredibly lucky to acquire these completely free of charge, as if I would’ve had to pay a professional to take them, it would have been quite expensive overall.
Above is a really interesting article that looks into the photography industry and 2018 and the rates photographers can generally work for. Looking at the overall rates I could have been charged anything between about 20 pounds an hour to 200 pounds depending on the level of the photographer.
