Overall I really enjoyed my first year at Bradford college. Most of my favourite moments came in my last project, where I was given the freedom to explore my own ideas for a creative music project. This included working with a range of different musicians who specialised in vocals and different instruments and allowed me to experiment with different genres and styles. Being in charge of a Jazz trio was very challenging as it wasn’t a field I had experience before the project, however I loved the challenge and it allowed me to understand how to work with other musicians effectively as well as what is expected of a performing musician in a professional environment.
