Improved/What went well:
I feel I have become confident with the usage of products and creating different characters. Although I didn’t get much chance to practice in the class, as I was away (in Pakistan) but was lot more fun doing this Tutorial, Fashion and bridal project 4. I got the chance to practice similar category but different looks, Editorial as not the look you would normally do in real life but for display/story telling magazine style, Fashion for runway and magazines and Bridal is ones big day.
I had the opportunity to practice Editorial look once in the class, which gave me confidence and better understanding of how to create the look, I feel I could have produced Fashion and Bridal differently If I knew what I had to produce.
My digital space content page would not open, so was not sure what and how much I have done on Fashion. or Bridal, therefor I had to save the rest of the work on different page.
I Feel, I have gained more confidence playing with different makeup and hair looks, I have really started to enjoy creating looks. Editorial, Fashion and Bridal is my favorite project, but due to not been able to attend much sessions with tutors so I could see demos and practice with other students, but I feel I got the opportunity to work with real life bride makeover that has really made me feel proud of my work. Most of my time in Pakistan I have not felt well enough to motivate my self as got too lethargic and had fever majority of the time, so was really tough to sit and work on my project 4, however I feel I have managed to uploaded on digital space to cover most of the topic. I feel I have confident and looking forward to my next project to be able to create something different which will take me step further in my experience.
Improvement/ What I can do better next time
My plan was to create a real Bridal look for my project 4, by giving her proper luxurious treatment of full body wax/massage, facial, manicure, Pedicure as well as doing her highlights/babylights too, but unfortunately one I fell ill (food poisoning) the second day of being in pakistan as I hadn’t traveled to PK for the last 2 years, therefore it takes good week or so to get your body used to the food and environment.
I feel I could have created much better hair style, but I couldn’t bring much of my hair and makeup stuff to PK due to minimal language carrying. So I couldn’t playing much with different looks, hopefully next time i am hoping I will have lot more stuff available to creat the look I want or is needed for the project.
with second Bridal look, I struggled to apply top eyeliner neatly and mascara as well as most liquid items as it was very warm and I had to keep switching air fun off so it doesn’t dry products out, but this was making the base move with it being warm so it was hard to keep my hand off skin and keep it steady.
