Section one rational- I have learnt and gained so much knowledge and new skills such as being able to take direction and work well with others in a group. I have learnt how to project well and with confidence also I have learnt what blocking is and how to use it, to not turn away from the audience when on stage and how to improvise and deal with things going wrong during a performance compared to when I started this course and I didn’t believe that I could do any of this and by learning all of these new skills I have and obtaining the knowledge I have learnt has given me the confidence and skills to be a better actor and performer overall. I think that this has influenced me into wanting to obtain the part of a main role AKA Wendy in the upcoming project with level 3 extended.
Section 2 concept- This project has been presented to us by level 3 extended and is their version of Peter Pan but a twisted version in which Wendy tried to find her father. I would like to get the role of older Wendy however I would yakr another role if I didn’t get Wendy. I want this role because I think that I will be able to portray Wendy’s emotions with realisticness due to my own personal circumstances. I think that I am suitable for this role because I am enthusiastic, willing to take direction, I can work well in a team and I’m able to work sufficiently under stress. I would like the production role of set/props because I am very creative and I love to paint. I think that I will bring creativeness and ideas to this role. I will try to achieve my end roles by being organised and prepared for the auditions and ensuring that I give my full attention and focus.
Section 3 evaluation- I will monitor my development through this process by taking written Reflections each day that I attend rehearsals. I will use these reflections to help me develop my role within our project and further develop my own personal skills. I will also use these reflections too improve my skills and use any of my ‘errors’ to reflect on and learn from them.
