the streaming services i am going to use to distribute my ep:
Spotify
Itunes
Bandcamp
EmuBands is slightly more expensive for my budget, however I looked into various options to decide which would give me the best deals. For this I would only be able to upload 5 tracks on my EP when I want to release 6, this include 2 acoustic tracks. However you also get '100%' of all your 'royalties', this means that you get the full profit. Which is a good option to chose as then this one time fee means that eventually you will be back in profit after album sales.
This deal would only mean that I would be distributing to Spotify, however I thought I would research different options to give me a variety of choices. This would cost £19.99 for a full year of unlimited songs, which would give me the option to create more music in the future and have the option to upload it. In some ways this would benefit me especially if I wanted to distribute more music within the next year, however I want to only release my EP this year, therefore this would mean that in some ways I wouldn't be taking into account the amount of money for just one place of distribution.
Spinnup would be ideal for my type of distribution as it's cheap but it will distribute my music on several platforms. for 14.99 per year I would be able to distribute my EP. This would also fit into my budget as it is not as expensive as EmuBands. However it will still get my music in the public eye like EmuBands does too. I believe that this would be a good deal to pay for and I believe that I will be distributing my EP with this company over the other companies.
