Mock performance
We got some feedback from the students at the end of the performance so that we could work on some of the pointers they said for the next performance.
Evaluation
Strengths
I spoke to the audience and announced the songs and I knew the lyrics without needing lyrics on stage. I communicated with the band members, I looked back at the drummer to guide him where the pauses are and when he should come in. You could hear me from and made no noticeable mistakes.i I made eye contact with the audience. I also got a lot of positive feedback from people and students.
Weaknesses
I believe that the tempo was slightly off. For the original song the band started a bit too quick and I tried clicking to keep them in time but once I started singing they slowed down, then I looked back at the video I noticed that straight away. The drums were a bit too loud and slightly over powered other instruments and the vocals. I did a few lyrical mistakes on the ending songs and few wrong chords were played but both of us just carried on with the song.
