Final performance and Evaluation

Final performance and Evaluation

The pros for the final performance with my actual band were, the band members were communicating on stage, musicians were looking at the audience and the band looked like they enjoyed themselves. We had an engaging audience and they clapped along, the audience looked like they were having fun.
People in our band did more than one thing, Lea sang and played guitar, i sang and played the piano and Harry played the keys and the tambourine. Harry did a really good job with the tambourine and made the song ‘ripride’ sound more alive. I managed to have some lyrics at the side so that i didnt read them off the phone to make it look better while i was on stage.
The cons for the final performance with my actual band were, that i still had lyrics on stage for one song and i kept looking down onto the sheet. In the song ‘Ms Jackson’ i didnt know when my singing part was and i kept looking up to look at my band members, next time i will make sure to know the structure of the songs better.
The pros for my second band would be that, there was good song choices that made the audience engage. There was good communication with the audience, the singers spoke and introduced the songs and i made the audience clap and spoke to the crowd. There was good vocal harmonies and everyone knew what they were doing and knew their parts. Dan’s guitar playing was really good and i managed to have all my lyrics on one sheet.

The cons for this performance were, that there wasn’t any movement on the stage and the band members didnt look at each other that much. I still had lyrics on stage. next time i will make sure that i know all my songs very well and i wont have lyrics on stage.
